NATURAL RESOURCES BOARD

The City of Sebastian is seeking applicants to fill the following positions on the Natural Resources Board.  This board holds the City’s annual Earth Day event and advises City Council on environmental issues with a three-pronged focus on preservation, regulatory programs and asset management.

One alternate member position with a term to expire 7/1/2020

One alternate member position with a term to expire 7/1/2022

These are volunteer positions and applicants must be City residents.
      
The Board meets on the first Tuesday of each month at 6:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers, 1225 Main Street, Sebastian.Applications are available in the City Clerk’s office, City Hall, 1225 Main Street, Sebastian, between the hours of 8:00 am and 4:30 pm or at www.cityofsebastian.org and will be accepted until filled.

PARKS AND RECREATION ADVISORY COMMITTEE

The City of Sebastian is seeking applicants to fill one expired, alternate member position on the Parks and Recreation Advisory Committee. 
This is a volunteer position and applicants must be City residents. 
The term will expire 5/31/21  This Committee meets on the fourth Monday of each month at 6:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers, 1225 Main Street, Sebastian.    

Applications are available in the City Clerk’s office, City Hall, 1225 Main Street, Sebastian, between the hours of 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. or at www.cityofsebastian.org and will be accepted through October 24, 2018.

CITIZENS BUDGET REVIEW ADVISORY BOARD
AT-LARGE POSITIONS

The Sebastian City Council is accepting applications for two at-large members on the Citizens Budget Review Advisory Board. The terms would be until November 2019.

This Board meets as necessary in Council Chambers, 1225 Main Street, Sebastian, to assist in the City’s budget preparation and review process; then make recommendations to the City Council prior to the first budget hearing for each fiscal year. They are volunteer positions and applicants must be City residents.

Applications are available in the City Clerk’s Office, City Hall, 1225 Main Street, Sebastian between the hours of 8:00 am and 4:30 pm or on-line at www.cityofsebastian.org and will be accepted until November 14, 2018.

METROPOLITAN PLANNING ORGANIZATION CITIZEN ADVISORY COMMITTEE SEBASTIAN ALTERNATE MEMBER REPRESENTATIVE

The City of Sebastian is seeking a City Resident to represent the City as an alternate member on the Metropolitan Planning Organization Citizen Advisory Committee.

This Indian River County Committee meets the first Tuesday of the month at 2:00 p.m. in Vero Beach. The Committee provides citizen input into the MPO planning process and ensures a high degree of public involvement in that process.
