DISABILITIES ADVISORY COMMITTEE

The City of Sebastian is seeking applicants to fill an unexpired position on the Disabilities Advisory Committee. This volunteer position will have a term until January 2018. This Committee will meet at least twice a year at 1225 Main Street, Sebastian. Applicants must be City residents and need not be disabled.

Committee members will conduct evaluations on City properties accessible to the general public, including parking lots, permitting offices, council chambers, city hall, restrooms, etc. and submit reports to the City Manager for review. The City Manager will report Committee findings and resulting staff actions to City Council.

Applications are available in the City Clerk’s Office, City Hall, 1225 Main Street, Sebastian between the hours of 8:00 am and 4:30 pm or on line at WWW.CITYOFSEBASTIAN.ORG, and will be accepted until the position is filled.

TWO ALTERNATE MEMBER POSITIONS
NATURAL RESOURCES BOARD

The City of Sebastian is seeking applicants to fill the following positions on the Natural Resources Board:

One alternate member position with a term to expire 7/1/2017

One alternate member position with a term to expire 7/1/2018

These are volunteer positions and all applicants must be City residents.

The Board meets on the first Tuesday of each month at 6:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers, 1225 Main Street, Sebastian.

Applications are available in the City Clerk’s office, City Hall, 1225 Main Street, Sebastian, between the hours of 8:00 am and 4:30 pm or at www.cityofsebastian.org and will be accepted until filled.

CIVILIAN POSITION ON THE CITY OF SEBASTIAN
POLICE OFFICER PENSION BOARD OF TRUSTEES

The Police Officer Pension Board of Trustees is seeking applicants to fill two civilian positions on the Board whose term will expire January 2021.

This Board meets as needed in the City Council Chambers, 1225 Main Street, Sebastian, to administer the retirement system for Sebastian’s police officers.

Residency is required for this position.

Applications are available in the City Clerk’s office between the hours of 8:00am and 4:30 pm
or may be downloaded from the City’s website: www.cityofsebastian.org

One Regular Member, Electrical Contractor Position – Term expiring 9/2019

One Regular Member, HARV Contractor Position – Term expiring 9/2019

One Regular Member, Contractor Position – Terms expiring 9/2018

One Alternate Member, Contractor Position– Term expiring 9/2019

Applicants must be City residents. Please be advised these positions are subject to financial reporting requirements.

If Council fills a regular member position with an alternate member, Council reserves the right to fill the alternate position with remaining applicants.
