DESCRIPTION
Under direction of the Network Manager, employee will provide technical, architectural, project management and support across all areas of the network. Providing additions or changes to the network for all WAN, LAN and Telco configurations, including servers, routers, switches, and all supported software facilities. Manage and maintain the Network Architecture and provide support to assigned City of Sebastian locations. Perform user support and instruction in maintenance and utilization of supported hardware/software applications. Employee will diagnose and resolve hardware/software related problems on computer equipment operating in stand-alone, network, and/or remote environments. Incumbents perform essential functions as outlined herein according to area of assignment, also to include operating the City’s Audio Visual (AV) equipment during live broadcasts on the government channel. The employee will be required to work various after-hour City Council and Committee meetings to operate the AV Control Room, including other multi-media devices in various City locations. Employee will also perform technical work related to updating the City of Sebastian’s website and Local Government Channel. Performs related work as directed.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Installs, monitors and maintains City voice and data network infrastructure, all related servers, and security and management components. Installs new hardware, software and upgrades for various departments utilizing stand alone, on-line, and/or remote environment systems. When assigned by the Network Manager, designs needed network hardware, software and resource solutions. Ensures all IT equipment and software is in compliance with established local policies, state and federal laws. Monitors network activity utilizing network management tools to provide proactive maintenance of network activity for assigned servers. Provides regular weekly system backups and status reports to the user community regarding system/service outages including estimated time to restoration. Troubleshoots user problems to analyse and determine whether it is an operator, hardware or software deficiency and coordinate and provide corrective measures. Provides end user training in the use of applications and hardware. Monitors division work orders for escalated calls assigned to technical services team to ensure response. Maintains inventory control records and documentations. Maintains a flexible work schedule that allows employee to work weekly night meetings, as deemed necessary. The employee will be able to flex their daily hours. Employee is on-call during their cycle and is required to report for duty within a reasonable timeframe.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution, in technical field and three years of Help Desk Level 1 support and technical experience. Must possess a current Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification or the equivalent in education and experience (i.e., associate’s degree and 4+ year’s experience in information technology and current CCNP (Cisco Certified Network Professional). High level of technical proficiency in Microsoft Windows desktop operating systems (Windows XP and later), medium level of technical proficiency in Microsoft Windows Server operating systems (Windows 2000 Server and later), Microsoft Exchange (2007 and later), Microsoft IIS (5.0 and later), VMware ESXi (3.5 and later), LAN/WAN administration skills and remote troubleshooting. Possesses basic knowledge of Voice-over Internet Protocol (VOIP) design, implementation, maintenance, and troubleshooting. This position requires the candidate to demonstrate the ability to be both a team player and a self-starter. Must have basic understanding of audio, video, recording, and TV Broadcasting. A high degree of time management skills are a necessity. Excellent people skills are essential.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Certification in at least one network operating system (i.e. Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer). Four or more years of help desk support experience or call center experience and working in a project team environment. Experience with infrastructure and network operating system monitoring tools.

DESCRIPTION:
Opens the Golf Shop, greets players, patrons and the golfing public in person and over the telephone. Checks in the players, collects fees according to current resolution, enters cash receipts to point-of-sale register or other cash register. Operates handicap computer, receives, counts, sells, displays and keeps merchandise inventory neat, clean and attractively displayed. Keeps Golf Shop neat and clean. Phones in course conditions with current date and tee time availability, bag resale golf balls, and closes Golf Shop.

Enforces policies, procedures, rules, regulations and safety and health standards. Determines, calculates and requests the appropriate materials, supplies and equipment for assigned tasks. Assists in projecting needs for equipment, materials and supplies. Inputs to handicap computer, point-of-sale computer, inventory and memberships computer. Inputs to PC computer to maintain data base, spreadsheet and word processing requirements. Works accurately and has the ability to analyze and interpret financial and numerical data and make recommendations based on that analysis to the Director of Golf.

Prepares and maintains daily records and reports as assigned. Responds to public inquiries. Provides information within scope of knowledge and position.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Working knowledge of computers and electronic data processing methods. Proficient knowledge of computers specifically a P.O.S (Point of Sale) system, office equipment, office practices, and procedures. Skill and competency in operating listed tools and equipment. Ability to perform arithmetic computations quickly and accurately. Ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing. Operates a variety of diagnostic instruments and a variety of hand, electric and air driven tools. Completes work orders and turns reports into supervisors upon completion of each repair. Tunes engines by adjusting or replacing needed parts; makes repairs to clutches, transmissions, differentials, brakes, steering, mechanisms and related units, machine, drums and rotors. Performs adjustments, repairs, and /or charging of automotive air conditioning and heating systems. Repairs and adjusts hydraulic and vacuum operated systems; hoses and fit¬tings; installs and adjusts power takeoffs. Performs major and minor mechanical repairs and adjustments on drive train, brakes, steering, electrical, fuel, cooling and related systems on light and heavy motorized equipment and vehicles. Rebuild and installs engines on small equipment. Performs diagnosis and repairs electrical problems in equipment, including electrical shorts, batteries, alternators, and lights. Responsible for the care, safety and maintenance of City issued tools. Performs vehicle test drive and aid diagnosis and to check repairs performed. Must have the ability to understand and carry out written and oral instructions, identify replacement parts using manuals and other reference materials and requisitions; parts and tools are required for the efficient performance of assigned repair work. Provides emergency field assistance to disabled mechanical equipment and vehicles as needed or appropriate, or to tow disabled vehicles or equipment to shop.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
High School Diploma or G.E.D Equivalent, supplemented by formal training in mechanical or related trades, and 1 to 2 years of experience as a heavy equipment mechanic including experience in the maintenance of diesel and gasoline powered engines; or any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required skills, knowledge and abilities. Must possess a valid Florida Class “A” Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) and maintain a good driving record throughout employment. Must possess ASE Auto Brake Certificate and be certified in recycling/reclaiming Freon usage, or be able to obtain the certifications within six months of employment in this position.

Performs routine custodial services for safety and appearance by washing, waxing, mopping, sweeping, dusting, cleaning, climbing a high ladder, using cleaning chemicals which may be noxious on occasions, and disinfecting areas etc. Empties waste receptacles and disposes of refuse. Observes standard operating procedures and safety practices and maintains cleanliness of work area and tools. Must have the ability to understand written and oral instructions and directions, and able to work independently with little or no supervision. Must adhere to proper safety protocol and utilize the appropriate safety equipment (i.e., gloves, mask, back brace, safety glasses, etc.). MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
High School Diploma or G.E.D Equivalent. Must possess a valid Florida Driver’s License and maintain a good driving record throughout employment. Must have some experience in basic janitorial/custodial duties; or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities. Must have knowledge of use and maintenance of vacuum cleaners machines, and other tools and equipment used for custodial work. Must be able to work weekends, holidays and rotating shifts. For safety and productivity reasons, this position requires the ability to read and write English fluently. Must be physically able to exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently and/or up to 20 pounds of force as needed to move objects. Must be able to pass the Criminal Justice Information System (CJIS) Security Test and an extensive criminal background test.

DESCRIPTION:

This is a highly specialized and responsible position that involves confidential work. The employee works with considerable independence within the scope of established laws, rules, regulations and technical procedures.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Monitors all radio channels for the agency in addition to all Fire and EMS channels for calls dispatched by the Sheriff’s office within the city limits. Answers 911 emergency and administrative non-emergency calls for service, and dispatches an officer when needed or transfer call to the appropriate agency. Answer phone requests for referrals and information and relays that information to the correct individual(s). Assists the public by disseminating accurate and appropriate information, as dictated by the nature of the call.
Interprets maps and provide clear directions when needed. Also responsible for specialized clerical and public contact work in receiving and transmitting message for the department. Receives and accurately registers complaints in CAD; logs radio transmissions by inputting call information into CAD. Searches for and retrieves information from in-house and remote databases. Runs FCIC/NCIC and Driver And Vehicle Information Database (DAVID) computer checks, teletypes other agencies for information and confirmations. Assists officers and other department personnel within the means provided in the Communications Center.
Responds to walk-in citizens. Monitors equipment for malfunctions. Monitors cameras and alarms for Police Department, City Hall, Airport, evidence compound, and Communication Center i.e., generator alarm, fire alarm, booking etc., and dispatches the appropriate personnel when needed. Operates other related equipment, i.e., facsimile, copy machine, scanners, shredder, radios, TDD (Telephone Device Hearing Impaired), printer, computers, copiers, and telephone.
Participates in in-house training to develop specialized unit knowledge for the purpose of acquiring progressively responsible duties.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

High school diploma or GED equivalent. Experience and/or training involving clerical, data entry, public contact and customer service work. Experience in Police, Fire or 911 emergency dispatch or police aide work, college level course in criminal justice, telecommunications or related field preferred. With continued employment contingent on the ability to participate in and satisfactorily complete established in-house training that provides the essential knowledge and skill in the communications function; or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities. Must be able to work various shifts.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS

Completion of FCIC/NCIC training for certification. Experience in radio dispatching of emergency services, is preferred. Must have computer knowledge with good keyboarding skills. Must be able to type accurately. Must have good telephone etiquette. Multi-tasking, and multi-functional skills a must, and must have the ability to prioritize.

Tennis Court Attendants will be responsible for activities relating to admissions, security and maintenance. Must be able to assist and work other areas when necessary. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Applicant's responsibilities include collection of administration fees for the Tennis Court, verification of completed waiver form, maintenance of the playing surface, minor cleaning of facilities and checking player's safety equipment. Must be able to prepare daily and weekly reports summarizing collection of fees and bring all monies collected bi-weekly to the Finance Department; do safety checks and maintain control over a safe environment at all times including ensuring that all players obey court safety rules both inside and around the perimeter of the Tennis Court. Responsibilities will also include the setting up of activities and the cleaning up at the end of the day. Court Attendant will correct all potential safety concerns or, if necessary, report it to immediate supervisor.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Applicants must have at least one (1) year experience in outside maintenance work. Applicants with experience in collecting fees and balancing a cash drawer preferred. Requires the ability to perform addition, subtraction, multiplication and division. Must be able to communicate orally and give directions to individuals or groups. Must be able to work independently with little or no supervision.
