NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING FOR
COMPREHENSIVE PLAN
AMENDMENT
CITY OF SEBASTIAN, FLORIDA
The City Council of the City of Sebastian, Indian River County, Florida, proposes to review the following ordinance:
ORDINANCE NO. O-23-10
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SEBASTIAN, FLORIDA, RELATING TO THE COMPREHENSIVE PLAN; AMENDING THE COMPREHENSIVE PLAN INFRASTRUCTURE AND GOVERNANCE & IMPLEMENTATION ELEMENTS TO INCORPORATE THE CITY OF SEBASTIAN’S WATER SUPPLY WORK PLAN (2023-2035) IN ACCORDANCE WITH STATUTORY PROVISIONS IN CHAPTER 163.3117, FLORIDA STATUTES; AUTHORIZING FINDINGS AND ADMINISTRATIVE ACTIONS; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY; PROVIDING FOR SCRIVENER’S ERRORS; PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE AND PROVIDING AN ADOPTION SCHEDULE.
A public hearing on the ordinance will be held on Wednesday, September 13, 2023 at 6:00 p.m. in the City Council Chambers, City Hall, 1225 Main Street, Sebastian, Florida.
Following the public hearing, the City Council may transmit the ordinance to the Department of Economic Opportunity for review, and schedule a second reading and adoption hearing.
Interested parties may inspect the proposed ordinance and the complete Water Supply Work Plan in the Community Development Department at City Hall, Monday through Friday 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and may appear at the hearing and be heard with respect to the proposed ordinance.
No stenographic record by a certified court reporter will be made of the foregoing meeting. Any person who decides to appeal any decision made by the Council with respect to any matter considered at this meeting will need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceeding is made, which record includes the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be heard.
