CITY OF SEBASTIAN
INDIAN RIVER COUNTY

The City Council of the City of Sebastian, Indian River County, Florida, will hold the first readings of the ordinances listed below on March 20, 2024 followed by subsequent public hearings to adopt the ordinances on Wednesday, April 10, 2024 at approximately 6:00 p.m. in the City Council Chambers, City Hall, 1225 Main Street, Sebastian, Florida.  

Ordinance No. O-24-07
A ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SEBASTIAN, INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, PROVIDING FOR THE CODIFICATION OF MEETING PROCEDURES AS ESTABLISHED IN RESOLUTION R-24-02; REPEALING RESOLUTION R-24-02; PROVIDING FOR REPEAL OF ALL OTHER ORDINANCES, RESOLUTIONS OR PARTS THEREOF IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; PROVIDING FOR CODIFICATION; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY; PROVIDING FOR SCRIVENERS ERRORS AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.

Ordinance No. O-24-10
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SEBASTIAN, INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, AMENDING CITY OF SEBASTIAN CODE OF ORDINANCES CHAPTER 2 – ADMINISTRATION, ARTICLE VI – BOARDS, COMMISSIONS, COMMITTEES, DIVISION 1 – GENERALLY, AMENDING SECTION 2-172 – REMOVAL; AMENDING SECTION 2-173 – ATTENDANCE REQUIREMENT; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY, PROVIDING FOR CODIFICATION, PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS, PROVIDING FOR SCRIVENER’S ERRORS AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.

Interested parties may inspect the proposed ordinances in the City Clerk’s office at City Hall, Monday through Friday 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and may appear at the hearing and be heard with respect to the proposed ordinances.

No stenographic record by a certified court reporter will be made of the foregoing meeting.  Any person who decides to appeal any decision made by the committee with respect to any matter considered at this meeting will need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceeding is made, which record includes the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be heard.  (F.S.286.0105)
