THE PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF SEBASTIAN, INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, HAS SCHEDULED A PUBLIC HEARING IN THE CITY COUNCIL CHAMBERS, 1225 MAIN STREET, SEBASTIAN, AT A REGULAR MEETING TO BE HELD ON THURSDAY, MARCH 7, 2024 AT 6:00 P.M., TO MAKE A RECOMMENDATION TO CITY COUNCIL REGARDING A REQUEST FOR A SPECIAL EXCEPTION TO SECTION 54-2-5.3.3(b) OF THE LAND DEVELOPMENT CODE TO ALLOW AN INDUSTRIAL ACTIVITY (OUTDOOR BOAT AND RV STORAGE) AS A PERMITTED USE WITHIN THE COMMERCIAL GENERAL (CG) ZONING DISTRICT, SPECIFICALLY FOR A PROPERTY LOCATED EAST OF SEBASTIAN ELEMENTARY SCHOOL, ABUTTING AND WEST OF THE ASHBURY SUBDIVISION ENTRANCE, AND NORTHWEST OF THE SHERWIN WILLIAMS PAINT STORE, LOCATED AT TAX PARCEL ID # 31-39-07-00000-3000-00009.3.
ALL INTERESTED PARTIES MAY APPEAR AT THE HEARING AND BE HEARD WITH RESPECT TO THE PROPOSED SPECIAL EXCEPTION, WHICH APPLICATION AND CONCEPTUAL PLAN IS AVAILABLE FOR REVIEW IN THE COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT DEPARTMENT WEEKDAYS FROM 8:00 AM TO 4:30 PM..
