The City Council of the City of Sebastian, Indian River County, Florida, has scheduled a public hearing in the City Council Chambers, 1225 Main Street, Sebastian, at a Regular Meeting to be held on Wednesday, June 26, 2024 at 6:00 p.m. to consider approving Resolution No. R-24-28 granting a Special Use Permit to allow a car wash operation with a proposed 4,500±SF automated car wash tunnel building along with two queueing lanes and pay kiosks, 32 vacuum stations, and three employee parking spaces within the Commercial Riverfront (CR) Zoning District. The proposed location is at 1979 US Highway 1 in the Community Redevelopment Area, south and adjacent to the Walmart Store, and north and adjacent to the County satellite offices.
